Janesville School Board meeting canceled

JANESVILLE – The Janesville School Board meeting scheduled for tonight has been canceled due to the weather.

The cancellation includes the hour-long discussion of early-retirement benefits with employee representatives, which were to start at 6 p.m. Tuesday, as well as the regular meeting, which was to start at 7 p.m.

No word yet on a date for a makeup meeting.

So roads are "Too Dangerous" for the school board during a winter weather advisory, but Janesville's students have to go to school in a BLIZZARD? What is wrong with this picture?
