MADISON — Telemarketing once again tops the list of complaints from Wisconsin consumers.

The state Department of Agriculture, Trade and Consumer Protection said Tuesday that telemarketing complaints account for nearly 2,000 of the roughly 10,000 formal complaints filed last year. It is the 10th year in a row that telemarketers and robo calls have topped the list.

After consumers file their complaints online, the department says it will contact businesses to attempt to resolve the issue. It recommends those who are upset when they receive a telemarketer’s call to simply hang up.

After telemarketing, the next highest complaint involved landlord and tenant issues.

Other complaints in the top 10 include identity theft, home improvement problems and gas pump accuracy.

We should start a fund. Everyone chip in $1. and we'll see how many people chip in and we can hire the A-Team to sneak over to their country and blow them up. I be we could get a couple hundred grand in just a day.

Decided to press "1" and when the guy answered I just asked him how many "last times" I was going to get and he hung up on me. Haven't heard from "Rachel" for awhile but one of this days she will call again just like she is programmed to do.

And apparently there is absolutely NOTHING anyone can do about it. She's been calling everyone for years now and if you Google the number it says that the company is offshore so they can't do a thing. I take my referee's whistle out and give them a blast in the ear! At first I hit "1" to talk to someone about lowering my payments and asked nicely to have my number removed from their list. The operator called my every name in the book because I was wasting his time by not have any credit card debt. Swore at me, cussed me out and then hung up on me. After that it was "Game On!"

I dont even have a credit card and she calls me all the time. Maybe she just needs someone to talk to?

If she has any brains at all, the "actress" who presents herself as "Rachel from Credit Card Services" will never admit to it!
