Town of Plymouth man arrested on homicide charge
TOWN OF PLYMOUTH—Authorities arrested a town of Plymouth man Monday on charges he shot and killed his neighbor on his rural property last Wednesday, according to the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
According to a news release:
Daniel F. Bellard, 75, of 6707 W. Stuart Road, was arrested on a charge of first-degree intentional homicide in the death of Christine M. Gestrich, 59, who lived next door to Bellard.
Bellard remains under guard in stable condition at University Hospital in Madison.
Authorities made the arrest “based upon physical evidence gathered at the scene, witness statements and investigative interviews.”
