Snowmobiler dead in crash in town of Whitewater

TOWN OF WHITEWATER—A man was killed when his snowmobile hit a tree around 11 p.m. Tuesday, the Walworth County Sheriff’s Office reported.
Responders performed CPR on Michael H. Zielinski, 37, town of Whitewater, but he was later pronounced dead, according to a news release.
The accident occurred at W9215 Highway 59, where Zielinski was riding the snowmobile on his property. He was not wearing a helmet, according to the news release.
The crash remains an open, ongoing investigation, according to the news release.
