UPDATED: Janesville police responding to armed subject on west side

JANESVILLE—Janesville police ended an armed standoff Saturday on the city's west side.
The armed subject was reported at 1:24 p.m. Saturday at 2706 Bond Place, according to Rock County Communications reports. Police worked throughout the neighborhood to create a perimeter around the home, according to 911 center reports.
Police entered the home and took a gun away from a person inside around 3 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
