Firefighters battling Edgerton house fire

EDGERTON—Eleven of the 12 fire departments that responded early Friday morning to a house fire at 211 Albion St. remain on scene, according to a dispatcher at the Rock County Communications Center.
The fire was reported at 2:02 a.m., he said.
Fire officials also have requested the American Red Cross to provide assistance, the dispatcher said.
One fire department unit was released at 4 a.m. The other departments remain on scene, he said.
