Dog sought after bite on Janesville bike trail

JANESVILLE—Police are asking for the public’s help to find a dog that bit a woman around 8:10 a.m. Thursday.

The incident took place on the city’s bicycle trail, along the west side of the Rock River, under the Veterans Memorial Bridge.

The dog is described as a tan, brown and black, medium-sized Labrador/chow mix. It had a collar that might have been green with no tags.

The woman was treated and released at a local hospital, police said.
