Kaukauna bullying incident 'resolved'
KAUKAUNA, Wis. (AP) — A Wisconsin school superintendent says an incident at a middle school that sparked an Internet posting that went viral has been resolved.
The Appleton Post-Crescent reported that Kaukauna Area School District Superintendent Mark Duerwaechter said during a board meeting Monday that officials had confirmed the incident was bullying and that the perpetrators had been held accountable.
Duerwaechter also said the district will improve its communications and anti-bullying initiatives in light of the incident.
The father of the victim posted a message last month, calling for school authorities to do something about his son being bullied at school.
