MADISON, Wis. (AP) -- President Barack Obama is soon making another stop in Wisconsin.

The Wisconsin State Journal reports he will be in Madison on Thursday. He was in Milwaukee Sept. 22.

He's making the appearance the night after the first presidential debate with Republican challenger Mitt Romney at the University of Denver and a campaign event in Denver.

After Madison, he's going to Fairfax County, Virginia, and Cleveland, Ohio.

The last time he was in Madison was Sept. 2010, when he held a rally at UW-Madison.

The campaign did not release other details of the Madison event.

First lady Michelle Obama spoke Friday at Lawrence University in Appleton.

"Paul Ryan responded to criticism that the math in Mitt Romney's tax plan doesn't ad up by telling "Fox News Sunday" host Chris Wallace it would take too long to explain.

“You haven’t given me the math,” Wallace said during an interview that aired Sunday.

"It would take me too long to go through all of the math,” Ryan said." [ http://livewire.talkingpointsmemo.com/en... ]

How long do you need, Paul? What happened to the promise to simplify the tax code and reduce its burden?

Bowlgal said, "Poobah, exposed again as another un-informed Democrat who uses race like most Demorats to either silence or shame opposition."

First, the Democrat party is too conservative and, like the Republican party, much too supportive of perpetuating economic elitism. I never have been a Democrat and doubt I ever will be.

Secondly, people I know don't allow themselves to be silenced or to feel ashamed by the "opposition." The people you think are being silenced and shamed by the "opposition" is a case of those people shaming themselves by their own actions/words.

The truth is sometimes uncomfortable and often inconvenient, isn't it Bowlgal?

"Howard Stern contributors Sal and Richard travel to Harlem to interview Obama supporters and ask them why they are voting for Obama.

Stern and his crew ask denizens of Harlem various outrageous questions, including if they believe Obama will find and kill Osama bin Laden; if Romney is a Muslim and if Obama is a Mormon; if Obama made the right choice by picking Paul Ryan as his running mate and if he did it because he is black.

One interviewee was under the impression that 2008 Republican nominee John McCain is also running this time.

"Just trust me, not one person knew that Osama bin Laden was dead," Stern said during the segment.

"Well, we're obviously dealing with a whole population that doesn't listen to the newscasts or read a newspaper," co-host Robin Quivers said."

That's a hilarious clip. Thanks for pointing it out. It reminds me of Jay Leno's "Jaywalking" interviews. I'm sure Stern could find an equal number of uninformed Republicans, but they would likely be rightfully suspicious of the press and refuse to talk to them.

Awesome! BO hangs the unionized labor folks in Wisconsin out to dry by offering next to no support while they were fighting for their right to exist. Just a state away and the ONLY support the guy could offer was a "tweet", but now that we are in the election cycle, BO and MO suddenly have time for our state's libs?? Does he honestly think that the liberals are stupid enough to fall for his insincere pledge of support after completely abandoning them when they needed him the most? Don't answer that.....I think BO has already answered the question for us....:)

poobah: I am still hoping for the change that was promised by candidate Obama during the last election cycle. A more civil atmosphere in Washington D.C. A greater reduction in unemployment. And the list goes on. I realize that the size of the recession is going to take many years to recover from. But I am truly disappointed that the promises made were not to some degree kept. President Obama, imo, is nothing more or less than the typical far left Chicago politician as were and are many in his staff. I had truly hoped that he would arise above that but have not seen that happen.

Yes, Bowlgal, many of us, including myself, have been exposed to racism and xenophobia. But there is hope and change! As ignorant persons fade into the twilight of their lives, and younger, better educated and better informed persons take their places in society, these prejudices are fading.

Congratulations! You just did exactly what you decried, all within the span of one sentence.

Feduptaxpayer said, "It is my opinion that your post are let's just say less than intelligent."

That opinion is often caused by intelligence being so foreign to a person that they'd need a cognitive passport before being able to recognize intelligence.

Poobah plays the race card and yada blames wislady.

And again MSNBC calling this race based on usrealistic oversampled polls trying to suppress/depress the Romney voter and yet Obama and Michelle are in Wisconsin?

Of course Obama will draw a crowd in Berkley Madison. They dress like zombies and uteris and ride segways. They pee on the Capitol walls and pitch tents on the sidewalk. They threaten small businesses and boycott USA and Wisconsin products.

This race is far from over and the Democrats are very fearful about that.

How'd that deal with Medvedev work out, janesvillecomments? Too bad we can't eliminate more military facilities around the world and quit crippling our economy with $700+ billion of military spending each year. Not to mention the cost of the unfunded and undeclared wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

teapartysal, you didn't mention Obama's pledge to "make a deal" with Russian President Dmitry Medvedev about missile defense in Europe after his re-election when he didn't know the microphone was on.

It's too bad that the best the Republicans could field for the Presidency is Romney. He reminds me of Thurston Howell III - he seems disconnected from the lives of average Americans and the realities of Presidential campaigning. He should be vigorously countering Obama's attack ads and reminding the public about his "clinging to guns and religion" comment during the last campaign.

The Republicans should be running Ryan for President and Romney for VP.

The race card and the xenophobic comments have all been worn out.

The prejudices are NOT fading, and if anything, they are becoming worse under the current WH administration.

How can I call him a traitor? How about taking his oath to preserve, protect and defend the constitution, then refer to it as a flawed document, then sign a un treaty making 'blasphemy' a crime, not to mention his statement about THE FUTURE MUST NOT BELONG TO THOSE WHO INSULT ISLAM? Ever heard of the second amendment, to say nothing of the the great mohammed marrying a 6 year old girl, or do you think its ok because he only fondled her till she was 9? You want to talk disgusting? How about failing to defend this country from invasion? Telling ICE not to enforce the laws of this country? HOw about not protecting his OWN appointees from mortal harm in Libya? OH, and then of course there's the NDAA, which DOES give the government the power to lock up american citizens w/o charging or trying them. And yes, I know all too well that every Republican from Wisconsin except sensenbrenner voted for that. That's why I'm not a Republican, either. People like you who support this traitor disgust me. You have no idea who this man really is, but you think he's just wonderful because the mainstream media and liberal rags like this paper told you he was. Not to mention the fact that you've totally forgotten which party controlled congress, and still controls the senate. I actually DO blame Bush for caving into the liberals like you and doing bailouts, etc. If your traitor candidate lacks the brains, balls and leadership skills to do his job, and wants to blame someone, I strongly suggest he blame LBJ and his great society. You remember LBJ, don't you.. you know that texan who made the remark, "Ill have those N***ERs voting Democratic for the next 200 years. Now that's truly disgusting. but about what you'd expect from the party that booed God and put out a video that says we all belong to the government.. hard to believe is a darn fine name for you.. hard to believe after 4 years there's still anyone stupid enough out there to vote for this TRAITOR - FEEL FREE TO SUBSTITUTE THE WORD TYRANT IF YOU PREFER.

He should have the time to talk about more of the good things that are actually happening to make this recovery possible. Obama 2012
