APPLETON, Wis. (AP) — More details are emerging about Michelle Obama’s return trip to Wisconsin this week.

The Obama campaign say the first lady will speak to grassroots supporters at Lawrence University in Appleton Friday.

Mrs. Obama will encourage Wisconsin residents to help organize their communities between now and the Nov. 6 election. She also will promote voter registration and voting through the Own Your Vote initiative.

The event is free and open to the public. Tickets are required due to limited space and will be available on a first-come, first-served basis starting Tuesday.

The visit will mark Mrs. Obama’s second trip to Wisconsin in four weeks. She was in the Milwaukee area in August to offer condolences to the families of Sikh worshippers killed or injured by a gunman at their temple.

Democrats must be concerned about the Wisconsin vote - they sent the person most likely to retain their 2008 voters.

A fine first lady - an honor to visit WI. Sorry, but have to add a funny JON STEWART video clip from last night. "Oh my God. George ROMNEY was on WELFARE. So according to Mitt Romney's own logic. Mitt Romney could not win the vote of his dad" (Jon Stewart)
