JANESVILLE—Janesville police have received nearly two dozen reports of vandalism to vehicles from residents.

Twenty-three reports were logged Friday when windows on vehicles parked in driveways or on the streets, primarily in the northwest side of the city, had been smashed out or broken by “some kind of a projectile weapon like a BB (gun),” said Sgt. Chad Pearson.

Police believe the vandals are working in one group in a car—later 90s model similar to a Chevy Cavalier occupied by three people. No arrests have been made, he said.

Anyone with information should call the Janesville Police Department’s nonemergency number at 608-755-3100 or CrimeStoppers at 608-756-3636 if interested in wanting to remain anonymous and to possibly receive a cash reward.
