Car damages Janesville bridge

JANESVILLE – A Janesville woman was accused of driving drunk after the car she was driving jumped the curb on the Milwaukee Street Bridge and severely damaged the bridge railing, according to a Janesville police report.
The accident occurred at 2:23 a.m. Sunday. The driver and a passenger were taken to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center for treatment. Police arrested the driver on a charge of operating while intoxicated, causing injury.
