ORFORDVILLE—Funeral arrangements have been set for Cpl. Benjamin Neal, who was killed last week in Afghanistan.

A public visitation will be from 4 to 9 p.m. Monday at Parkview High School, 106 W. Church St., Orfordville. Immediate and military family only will have a private visitation from 2 to 4 p.m.

The funeral will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. William Catholic Church in Janesville.

Neal’s remains are expected to arrive at 9 a.m. Saturday at the Southern Wisconsin Regional Airport south of Janesville, Rock County Sheriff’s Capt. Jude Maurer said. No ceremony will be held at the airport, but a large procession will leave the airport, go through Orfordville and end at Newcomer-Silverthorn Chapel on the Hill, he said.

The sheriff’s office plans to release more details on the route Friday and information will be posted immediately at GazetteXtra.com on Friday.
