Walker says he talked with Romney about jobs

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Gov. Scott Walker says he thought Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney gave a clearly focused speech during a campaign stop in Janesville on Monday.

Walker said Tuesday that Romney was focused on talking about jobs and that is a winning message for him in the presidential race. Walker says if he talks a lot about jobs, Romney will do well.

Walker appeared with Romney during the campaign stop at the Monterey Mills factory. The stop was part of Romney’s five-day bus tour that took him to smaller towns in mostly battleground states.

Walker says the bus tour was good for Romney and provided him with campaign situations he likes.
Romney predicted in the Janesville stop that he would win Wisconsin.

You're right, it's redundant to use both "bowels" and RAF.

Red uttered "dog literally releases his bowls from fear"
-
What was that about being clueless? Is it your idea that you think a dog is so afraid he released his food "bowls"? Or are you a pet psychic and communicated with a dead dog to learn it was really scared on a roof of a car? Hmmm, wonder why dogs that ride loose in trucks don't have the same idiosyncrasies. I agree Red, you are utterly clueless.

Since both Walker and Romney have LOST more jobs than they have created as Governors it must have been a really short conversation.

Walker has to talk to Romney about jobs because Obama doesn't know what he's doing. Neither does Mormon Harry Reid.

There will be millions of jobs after the election --the Republicans aint earning much money on their "stash of cash". they are obeying their leaders on the #1 item of making Obama a one term President!!!!

"Eating dog is okay but keeping it as a pet is bad...thanks for clearing that up yada."

So lets compare the actions of a 6-10 year old boy living in Indonesia where its not uncommon to eat things, like dog, that are not part of our American diet to a grown man who attaches a dog carrier to the top of his car until the dog literally releases his bowls from fear, hoses off the car and dog, then puts the dog BACK up on the roof. Thanks for clearing up the fact, RAF, that you are one clueless individual.

onelife2live - agree wholeheartedly. Last summer we went to a Snappers game, went to the pizza vendor to buy a slice ($2.75) and a soda ($2.50), and the 20 yr old girl PUNCHED IT INTO A CALCULATOR. AND WHEN SHE WASN'T SURE THE ANSWER WAS RIGHT, SHE DID IT AGAIN. By that time, I dropped the $5.25 on the counter and said, "Trust me, it's right." How do these people graduate? They aren't even qualified for minimum-wage (read: low-skilled, not deserving of this ethereal "living wage") job.

Toooo FUNNY seeing the THREE STOOGES in Janesville. Great story BELOW on ROMNEY transporting his DOG(1983)on the ROOF OF THE FAMILY CAR. Over the years he has been questioned about it, but sure sounds like animal cruelty and poor judgement on his part.

I don't believe religion plays a role in who I vote for. The way our government is set up it would be hard for any POTUS to cram his/her religion down our throats.
I'll pick the one that has a plan and not just talk the talk.
I've seen the US very slowly recovering, slowly, but still, unemployment is dropping again slowly but still.
From what I've heard from Rom I haven't been impressed. While he was gov in Massachusetts the state didn't do to well. Then again Obama can't seem to get anything accomplished. Is that his fault? Was he allowed to apply his agenda like evryone thinks walker should be allowed to do? No. If Rom wins do you think he will be able to get anything done, prob not.
I see slow improvement which is better than voting in some one like Barrett who doesn't have a plan or a clue how to get one.

I laugh every time I see the left talk about Mormons. Yet they ignore their guy running the US Senate, a democrat from Nevada Harry Reid, is also a Mormon. I guess it only matters when it pertains to someone on the other side of the isle.

Oh, and for all the conservative Christians. The Mormons gave up polygamy in order for Utah to join the US. Would you give up a basic tenet of your religion under any circumstance?

Romney gave an 18 minute speech without a teleprompter? It's the memorized one he's repeating all over the place. Of course, he used fake Greek pillars and teleprompters at CPAC a few months ago. Where's Romney's birth certificate? His father was born in Mexico. His grandfather fled, not to Illinois, but to Mexico. For polygamy.

Question for the repubs- you all went on and on about Barrett not having a plan, can someone tell me what Roms plan is besides talking the job talk?

What happened to all the jobs that all of the billions of "stimulus money" was supposed to create? I noticed in the last Presidential election that the phrase "creating new jobs" was changed to "creating and saving x amount of jobs". Politicians are masters of the English language (or their writers are).

Yes we need jobs, but we also need a hungry youth generation that wants to work. I am over 47 and to be honest, a lot of the younger guys I have seen hired are kinda weak with attendance, math, following rules and math. Sorry, I do not work with many women, hence the "guy" reference. But man, the math skills in my job are important. You can not always have a calculator handy and have to be able to convert metric to standard. Fast. As far as the rules go, many do not like to go with out a cell phone. No cell phones on the floor means just that. But I see people try everything they can to send out that text, or see if they received one. Focus people.

Sorry, that was a little off topic, but yes we need good paying jobs, but we must have the workers ready to fill those jobs, and sometimes I am not so sure we are there. Peace

Politicans don't create jobs. You can hope they create an atmosphere that allows for job creation.
We do not have that now nationally.

And these politicians can talk all they want about creating jobs. Getting it done is another thing.

How does a POTUS hire people? What makes you think Rom will hire people? What 'openings' will he fill personally? I believe Rom is in the business of buyng companies and closing them down is he not?
The qusetion should be - how many people has Rom sent to the unemployment line getting rich? Yet now he says he will create jobs, really?
So the POTUS creates jobs? Man you all need to open the windows and let the fumes out!

I think Romney will win,if he does he best do more than talk about jobs, creating them is a whole new story. Let's hope he does better than BO, surely could not be that difficult !
