Robber demands Oxycodone from pharmacist
JANESVILLE—Janesville police continue to seek information about a robbery early Thursday morning at Walgreen Drug Store, 1717 Milton Ave.
According to a police department news release: Store employees reported a man entered the store at 5:25 a.m. Thursday, walked back to the pharmacy and handed a note to the pharmacist demanding Oxycodone.
The pharmacist complied with the note and turned over an undisclosed amount of Oxycodone.
Then the 5-foot-10-inch tall white man with a medium build fled the store. But responding officers and a Janesville police K-9 were unsuccessful in finding him.
Store employees also told police the man appeared to be between 30 and 40 years old and was wearing an orange coat with a large hood and light blue blue jeans.
