Dogsrule, You are right. Walker has not delivered the jobs yet. Not an excuse, but the Democrats and the demonstrations that brought nationwide attention over unions surely did not help us get any business to this state. What company in their right mind (no pun intended) would want to come to Wisconsin and see all the people stomping their feet like little kids over having to give some of their excessive benefits back. Peace

After looking back at how "dogsrule" I still apologize for offending him/her, but see a person that might think we all have a right to our opinions, but doesn't really want to hear what anyone thinks but them.

Oh, I guess I can see where you might think I took offense, but it wasn't what I meant. I just meant I thought it was a campaign ploy to point any "group" out to try and get votes. I don't have a problem with who you choose to love and I apologize if you thought I did.

I would have been embarrassed to put out that press relase. That's about as newsworthy as the local Democrat club protesting in front of Rep. Ryan's office on Tuesdays.

I heard Mary Tyler Moore is still drawing a crowd of 10 (except for the officers of the local Democrat club, that's two more than Daly will draw).

I'm thinking that "if" Walker didn't say he was going after collective bargaining rights during the first election. The people that voted the 2nd election definitely knew what he was doing when they voted the 2nd time.... And I think, there is no "great" Presidential candidate out there. But what we have hasn't created jobs, hasn't lowered the price of gas, hasn't given us a alternative option on using energy, but he has given illegal immigrants rights, and then as gone after the gay community vote. So now who do we vote for?

Daly was last popular in 1980...coincidentally, the last time the Democrats had a good idea.

yes, let me be VERY clear. I have no desire WHATSOEVER to deny anyone their right to assemble or speak freely. After all, I know how that feels. I was in Madison when the libs tried to drown out every speaker.

She has every right to speak her piece regardless of where she grew up. You don't have to agree with her comments, but you have to agree she has the right to voice her opinions. For those that support what Ms. Daly has to say, I sincerely hope you enjoy listening to her and meeting her. For the ones that do not agree with Ms. Daly, don't fear what she has to say, find something else to occupy your time.

Perhaps Akin will campaign in Janesville on behalf of the Romney/Ryan ticket. People need to be very cautious of the double-talk of Romney, Ryan and the Republican party platform on abortion.

"Romney and his running mate Paul condemned Akin’s remarks and pledged that under a Romney administration, abortion would be allowed in the case of rape. An exemption for rape, though, is not included in the platform set to be adopted by the party Romney will officially lead when nomination next week.

And Ryan, his vice presidential pick, has opposed exceptions for rape and voted alongside Akin in the House, though Ryan now says he defers to Romney’s position on the matter." [ http://politicalticker.blogs.cnn.com/201... ]

Some moral conviction on Ryan's part, isn't it? Who do you believe? Paul Ryan since elected? Paul Ryan since yesterday? Romney? Or the Republican platform? I say trust none of them!

Nowhere did they say they would try to stop her from exercising her freedom of speech or assembly.

kleej That would be the actors on the Rightwing stage. Very talented actress, Looking forward to her visit. Agree gray ghost a break from Ryan would be nice. Still do not get the Stepford women supporting the Teaparty socialites. Walker, Ryan and the likes of them. They could not tell the truth nor admit any wrong, if their jobs depended on it. Oh that's right they do not need one they get supported by the tax payers DOING NOTHING BUT DESTROYING the people of this State and country with their extreme hate against the rights of the real people that have made this country what it is. Against women, children, elderly, and the public workers who actually are people!!!! To support corporations that are buying this country with money earned in other countries is not the government I want. The corporations get rich in other countries by paying dirt cheap wages and abusing people there, just like they are attempting to do here. Women that stand with the RepubLIECons are not *IMO* women, as Real women do not lay down and bow to their rights and choices being taken away and treated less then. BTW RAPE IS RAPE. NO MEANS NO..... Obama/Biden 2012

When are you folks going to give it a rest? Walker won in 2 count em TWO votes, you wasted Millions of dollars on a recall and you people still use every artical to place your crying comments. This person is coming here to campaign for what she thinks is the right way to vote. If you feel differently state that don't continue to cry and whine over your lost efforts to recall Walker.

If a has been actress wants to come to Janesville to speak to a bunch of retired GM workers and retired school teachers..let her.

A typical tactic of the liberals. When you can't gain favor by doing the right thing and the tactical approach of lies and deceipt aren't getting it done, just pull in the celebrities to swashbuckle the people.
