Two teens killed in Sunday morning Rock County rollover crash
Rock County Coroner Jenifer Keach reports that two teens were killed early Sunday morning in a rollover traffic accident on Mineral Point Road about 1.5 miles west of Janesville.
Dead are a 19-year-old man from Edgerton and a 18-year-old man from Janesville. The two men were in the front seats of a car that left the road and rolled over at about 1:30 a.m. They were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the vehicle, Keach said.
Two passengers in the car were transported to Mercy Hospital and Trauma Center in Janesville where they were treated and released. Another passenger was treated and released from St. Mary's Janesville Hospital.
Keach said high speed and alcohol are believed to be factors in the incident.
The Rock County Sheriff's Office is continuing the investigation.
