The National Weather Service has updated its forecast for the snowstorm expected to hit Wisconsin on Monday and Tuesday.

Walworth County and areas to the east and north of Walworth County are under a Winter Storm Warning.

Rock County and areas to the west and north are under a Winter Weather Advisory.

Snowfall predictions now range from 6 inches to 11 inches for Rock County for the two-day period.

Snowfall in Walworth County is predicted to be between 8 inches and 14 inches.

Blowing and drifting snow is expected to develop Tuesday morning and worsen through the day and Tuesday night as wind speeds increase and winds become more northerly.

Snow is expected to end by Wednesday morning, but winds will not subside until late Wednesday afternoon.

You guys are worried about whether it's an advisory or warning? Plan for the dang warning and be glad if it turns out it should have been an advisory!

NWS keeps changing its forecast as the storm nears. Yes, Rock County is now in the warning area. It wasn't before.
