Strong winds expected Sunday night

The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for southern Wisconsin, including Rock and Walworth counties, for Sunday evening until Monday morning.

Forecasters are predicting north to northwest winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts up to 45 mph. The National Weather Service urges residents to secure loose items in yards and be cautious while outside or traveling.

The advisory starts at 7 p.m. Sunday in Rock County and 10 p.m. Sunday in Walworth County. It is expected to end at 7 a.m. Monday.
