Authorities are diverting traffic on Highway 14 near the Rock-Walworth county line after a crash, a dispatcher at the Rock County Communications Center said.

Westbound vehicles are being diverted at the county line north on County M. They can get back on Highway 14 at Kemp or Emerald Grove roads, the dispatcher said. Eastbound vehicles will take the opposite route.

At least two vehicles were involved in the crash, the dispatcher said. The call came in at about 9:15 a.m.

It would be interesting to know the Gazette's reason for removing weezer's comment. I know they take deletions seriously, so it's probably a good reason. When I read it I just blew it off.

I was the first person to reach this unfortunate (yet fortunate to be alive) young man.. My father and I were driving directly behind him. His phone was completely smashed and in his hand when I reached him, but he said he must have fallen asleep at the wheel. Either way, I truely hope he is ok. My thoughts and regards to him and his family.

Again I just wanted those reading this to know it was not a PHONE that caused this accident!!! Those who have nothing better to do but spread hurtful lies please remember this is a person a young man who is in the hospital and his mother and father can read your comments and they hurt. Please only report truth not speculation or lies.

.....duh.
They'll open up the roads whenever they're done cleaning up the accident.
Did you expect there to be a specific, set time they stated they'll be done?
Come on,think.

weezer...very interesting...thanks for the post...but where did you get that info? Especially about the (crushed) phone? Cops and EMTs don't usually pass out that kind on info.

No phone use unless you are pulled over. People still don't pay attention with hands free devices.

Whoa! With Cty A already closed for bridge work, this will put a lot of traffic on Cty M. Hope it's cleaned up quickly.
