Two Wisconsin residents charged in Iowa burglaries
MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Authorities say two Wisconsin residents charged with burglary could be responsible for at least 100 burglaries in three states.
Authorities in eastern Iowa’s Clinton County have charged 21-year-old Jeremy G. Kahl and 22-year-old Crystal M. Evanson, both of Mt. Horeb, with eight felony counts each of burglary and other charges.
Detective Steve Cundiff of the Clinton County sheriff’s office says the pair are suspects in at least 100 burglaries of taverns and other businesses in Iowa, Wisconsin and Illinois.
Kahl and Evanson were being held in the Dane County jail in Madison awaiting extradition to Iowa and were unavailable for comment.

"Modern day Bonnie and Clyde"?
From another report: "The two had cash, heroin, two-way radios, a police scanner, a pry bar, highlighted maps and a laptop computer."
