EDGERTON—Nothing was confiscated in searches at Edgerton High School on Friday, Principal Mark Coombs said.

A student found the words “Bomb this Friday” on a boys bathroom stall Tuesday, but officials don’t know when the message was written.

Staff volunteers came in early Friday to search the school, including lockers and grounds, Coombs said. They searched students as they came in.

The school had more absences than normal, though Coombs attributes some absences to the flu. He does believe the bomb threat had a small impact on attendance, he said.

Authorities still don’t know who wrote the message, Coombs said.

“At this point, we’re kind of hitting a dead end,” he said.

They should offer some kind of reward to have info on who may have done this.
