Brewers release 2010 schedule
MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Brewers will open their 40th anniversary season at home on Monday, April 5, 2010.
The team says the game against Colorado at Miller Park will begin at 1:10 p.m. All home games next season will begin 10 minutes after the hour, which is five minutes later than usual.
It will be just the third time since 1995 that the Brewers open a season at home.
In interleague play, Milwaukee will host Texas and Seattle, and travel to Anaheim, Calif. to play the Los Angeles Angels. The Brewers will also face Minnesota in a traditional home-and-home series, making their first visit to the Twins’ new Target Field in Minneapolis May 21-23.
In addition, the Brewers will face Detroit in exhibition games at Miller Park April 2-3.
