To curb means to lessen in intensity or to hold in check. And no, unless we try, we never will curb it. Perhaps this session will help move things in the right direction in educating people and toughening laws regarding drunk and buzzed driving. So, have a little faith, folks, and keep a positive thought!

As long as there are public drinking establishments with parking lots, there will be drunk driving.

The cause of drunk driving is right there in the open for everyone to see.

The League of Alcohol Distribution is holding too many purse strings for any real change from our present government.

Underage drinking is probably way down from 20, 30, 40 years ago. But back then the cops would break up a party and tell everyone to go home. Now they arrest everyone so it only appears that there is a bigger Underage drinking problem. They will never beable to stop drunk driving. The only thing that can be done is provide reliable public transportation at night to slow it down. And that to only appears that there are more drunk drivers now because it wasn't that long ago that if you were only a little bit drunk you got told to go straight home and if you were really drunk you got told to walk home or the cop gave you a ride home.
