Confoundit! When is Wisconsin going to get serious about knife control? It's not the person and their lack of self-control or mental state, it's the inanimate object that causes the crime. I suppose we can thank the lobbyists of the NKA for this deplorable state of affairs. They won't be happy unless every Tom, Dick, and Harry can possess a knife. This assault would never have occurred if Wisconsin would regulate knives so that only licensed chefs and dieticans were allowed to have them.

If it happened at 159 S. Jackson, they didn't have to go far to get treated...

theone, the emergency room will treat you as medically necessary regardless of insurance. He wouldn't have been released unless his wounds were sanitized and sutured. Frankly, with modern medicine (and a reasonably sharp knife, preferably in the wrong place), that may be all that's needed for a full recovery. The biggest risk is infection.

Who said he was "OK" ?

He was probably released because he didn't have insurance.

"repeatedly stabbed"
"treated at Mercy Hospital, Janesville, and released"
What the heck was Mr. Jimenez using for a weapon?
Anyways, I'm glad the victim is okay.
