MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Lt. Gov. Barbara Lawton and a pair of Democratic state lawmakers are scheduled to talk about campaign finance reform on Thursday.

Lawton will be joined by state Rep. Mark Pocan of Madison and state Sen. Jon Erpenbach of Waunakee. All three will speak to the governing board of Common Cause in Wisconsin. The government watchdog group says the three will discuss their views and ideas on campaign finance reform and other changes that are needed in the state.

Lawton has announced she is running for governor next year. Erpenbach had considered a run but decided against it.

The 11 a.m. meeting in the state Capitol is open to the public.
