Beloit gets first football win over Craig since 1998
No matter how loudly opportunity knocked, Janesville Craig High School’s football team couldn’t manage to open the door in a 12-6 loss to Beloit Memorial on Friday night. The Cougars turned the ball over eight times and came up empty on three trips to the red zone against their Big Eight rival at Jacobson Field, leaving Beloit (1-1, 1-1) with its first win over Craig since 1998. Wow, I thought I'd come on here and see nothing but excuses and people blaming the refs. Nice to see people congratulating Beloit and not trying to blame the loss on everything else.
