MADISON, Wis. (AP) — The University of Wisconsin-Madison has launched two initiatives designed to make it easier for undergraduate students to learn about and apply for scholarships.

There's a new Web site to help students search undergraduate scholarships. In the past, students and parents had to search out available scholarships through the separate campus school or college.

The other new initiative is designed to make it easier for students to apply for scholarships by completing an online application form.

The secure Web site will use a database to evaluate the student and determine which scholarships they may be eligible for.
