UW-Rock seeing record numbers
UW-Rock County is poised for record enrollment for the second year in a row, an official said.
Today is the first day of the fall term at the campus on Janesville’s south side.
As of Tuesday, the campus had enrolled 1,120 full- or part-time students, said Kristin Fillhouer assistant dean of student services.
That number translates to a full-time-equivalent enrollment of 828.
If that number holds, UW-Rock would exceed the previous record of 740 full-time-equivalent students set last year on the 10th day of fall classes.

Over all the UW-System is down in attendance. UW-Rock is helping keeping some of the other schools afloat.

When I went to U-rock I would start out with 30 people in a class and by the end of the semester I was lucky to see half still there. I'm not sure why that is. I believe the overall graduation rate for the UW system is 55% and right now many displaced workers may find school easy to do with no job but once the economy picks up again and people start working again, going to school full time is extremely challenging and many more dont make it

In ANY other business greater volume means lower prices.
