Name of Wednesday fatality released

BRADFORD TOWNSHIP--The Rock County Sheriff's Office has released the name of the person who died in Wednesday's fatal car crash.

Dean Berkiel, 45, of Lake Villa, Ill., died on impact when his car hit a tree at the northwest corner of the intersection of Highway 14 and Kemp Road.

The accident happened at 1:50 p.m.

He must have been going way to dang fast, the vehicle was so smashed. The engine was ejected... Did not look like he had a seat belt even though I don't think that would have helped.. R.I.P.
