MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak has collected on his bet with the mayor of Green Bay, Wis., over last week’s Vikings-Packers game.

Rybak collected a load of Wisconsin-made cheese, chocolate and 10 pounds of hamburgers from Green Bay Mayor Jim Schmitt on Tuesday.

The Vikings beat the Packers 30-23. Minnesota quarterback Brett Favre’s victory over his former team in a Monday night game drew a record cable audience.

Rybak thanked Schmitt Wednesday for fulfilling his bargain and said he’s donating the gifts to Caring and Sharing Hands, a Minneapolis group that serves people in need.

Had the Packers won, Rybak would have sent Schmitt a block of Minnesota cheese, a bag of Minnesota-made kettle corn and Honeycrisp apples from Minnesota.
