It probably is still out in the woods, and isn't likely to have been picked up by anyone able to take advantage of its value (e.g. by forging papers). If it has been taken in, someone must know about it. Getting the word out will reach them or someone who can pass along a tip.

When I lived in Orfordville, I let my purebred Australian Shepherd dog out (after picking her up after my daughter's surgery) and she never was seen again. She ALWAYS came home. I lived in the country on five acres. I put up flyers, put an ad in the gazette and went door to door to everyone in a two mile radius. My family was heartbroken, and my kids still ask about her to this day. Whoever has my dog, I hope you are treating her good..
I miss you Jazzy!

Lieber Gott! At this rate, I’ll never get my “thoughts and prayers” list under control. I just hope the Gozer switches to daily updates on this fast-breaking tragedy!
