JANESVILLE – The city of Janesville will collect grass, leaves and garden debris this week, on the same day as residents’ regular garbage pickup.

The city recommends leaving plastic bags untied. Bundles of brush can be no larger than 4 feet long, 12 inches in diameter and no heavier than 50 pounds.

Bags or bundles should be placed a few feet from the trash at the curb by 7 a.m. on the morning of garbage collection. For more information, contact City Services at (608) 755-3110.

The schedule was already been posted several times in the paper and mentioned on other media including the mailing that went out from the city. This was likely only meant to be a reminder. Chill out.
