MILWAUKEE (AP) — Police in Milwaukee used cutting edge technology to nab a suspected murderer after he robbed a Burger King.

On Friday night officers arrested a suspect a few blocks from the restaurant he allegedly robbed. He gave a false name, but officers scanned his fingerprints with a new device that checks them against the police fingerprint file.

WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee reports it popped back immediately that the 26-year-old man was wanted for at least two murders — one in 2004 and one last summer. Police wouldn’t give details on those crimes.

Napalm...No checking fingerprints is not new but it is new to check them at the scene with a portable scanning device, isn't it?
