Just to let you all know, that wasn't his wife on television. That was just the mother of his children! Derick was a stand up man that when his childrens' mother ahd gotton the children taken from her, he went and did all that he needed to do to get them back, and from that point on, he took care of them! He wasn't "bad" or violent! His boys are now without the only man that was showing them how to be a stand up man in a not so great situation. Just because it happened in the Merrill district, doesn't mean that he should be "labeled" and that is why I wanted to set it straight! This was a man that stood up when he needed to to take care of his children! He was a great father and he did his best for his kids. He did not deserve to die at the receiving end of a bullet!

I've been told by a member of law enforcement that sometimes these people will make a face that will sometimes distort their actual normal appearance in hopes that in the future when there's a BOLO or warrant, they might not be noticed.

CCAP has only one "Antonio" Mance: Antonio Lavel Mance, 11/15/82, having both Chicago and Beloit addresses. That puts him at 27.

ljs, I was kinda thinking that too... except in other words-- first he feels the need to SHOOT someone THAT close to an elementary school, but then he's not man enough to face the consequences? I have no patience or sympathy/empathy for people that find they must kill another on the streets like this. JMO
