GERMANTOWN, Wis. (AP) — Police have a man in custody for the death of a teenage boy in the parking lot of a suburban Milwaukee Walmart.

Officers were called to the Germantown Walmart Sunday night. Investigators focused on a blue minivan where they believe the murder took place.

Police Chief Peter Hoell says the victim and suspect apparently knew each other.

Neither the suspect or the victim were Walmart employees.

If someone wants to spend their life wringing their hands and gnashing their teeth over every injustice and tragedy in the world, that is their choice.

an accidental shooting in a Walmart parkinglot, Poobah? Strange place to be cleaning your gun only to have it "Go off." ODE had a good point. People are having fun with this one and are forgetting that someone died.

stomskid- would you rather that the Gazette just reported about your pitiful little life?
Fifty miles isn't that far. Maybe someone here may know them.

ODE, I had commented earlier to this article simply with a link to more information. I didn't say anything beyond that it was his step-father who was being held as a SUSPECT in the shooting. SUSPECT, ODE! I think of all the comments I've read, yours is the one that reflects a simple mind. You already assume his step-father intentionally murdered the kid and are lamenting the fact that he won't be executed. What if this was an accidental shooting? And as long as you're so concerned about the kid's mother, remember it was the mother who brought the step-father into this kid's life.

I can't believe the comments that are made. I hope that you people can't sleep for a few nights. The story is about a young boy who lost his life. At the beginning of the day there was no info on the cause of death and the majority of you made light of that. It bothers me to no end at thinking of his last moments of breath and what he may have been thinking (more than likely his mother). Each and everyone of you apparently don't value life. Simple minds is all that you have. My prayers and thoughts are with this young mans mother and family. The stepfather should rot in jail and never see the light of day. It's to bad that Wisconsin doesn't have the death penalty for criminals like this.

It's sad that the two posters who want to know "what is this world coming to" have to use the 'F' letter to make their point.

I understand this is a tragic story but not understanding why it's in the gazette??? Here thought it was Local news. That's why i read this paper for our local stuff not things that happen 50 miles away. Glad its only the free stuff i read and not the paid paper online.
I know here come the DAGGERS......

Why would anyone be so mean and crazy to run over someone with a vehicle even if they hated each other. What the F is this world coming to?

Well, this article was just overflowing with facts and details. Glad they clarified that neither the suspect nor the victim were employees of Wal-Mart though.
