Leaf collection begins Monday in Janesville

The city of Janesville will collect loose leaves Monday, Nov. 9, through Friday, Nov. 20.

Leaves should be raked loosely into the street gutter by the street's pickup date.

A way the city could collect money is to fine these idiots who rake their leaves to the curb after the collection and let them sit until it snows and the plows push them into the neighbors yard or they end up plugging the gutters and the city has to pay someone to come and un plug them.

I'll pay my taxes for leaf collection. At least I know what I am paying for when they collect my leafs and my taxes

Then you would have to fight the new compost and dump hours. Would cause even a bigger problem.

if you ask me this should be a budget cut we can get away with, bag your own leaves and get rid of them, does anyone know how much the city might spend on leaf collection
