JANESVILLE – Police say an 83-year-old man who went missing Tuesday was found Wednesday, safe and sound.

The man, Robert J. Windhaeuser, had recently moved to Janesville from Green Bay.

“Mr. Windhaeuser has been located in the Green Bay area. He is safe and with family,” according to a news release.

Police asked for the public's help in finding Windhaeuser after he didn’t return from a Tuesday morning trip to Wal-Mart.

I'm glad everyone is safe, too. Here's the original story that someone obviously missed.

AWWW!!! Lil ol man is probably humbled by how much they cared.... It is pretty nice though. If it were me, or my family, it would feel good to know.

In the early stages of Alzheimer's you can still be quite functional. Sometimes willful. My guess is that he was in his mind forced to move to Janesville to be near caring relatives but didn't like the dislocation.
.
A product I recommend is the Kajeet phone. It's for parents to give to their kids, but it has a GPS feature that can be remotely monitored.

WOW! I thought we'd never see the days anymore that people actually cared! Thank you for allowing me the peace of mind to know that there are still a few decent people left in this world!
