Craig softball team falls in regional final
Janesville Craig gave a good account of itself, but the Cougars fell to top-ranked Kenosha Bradford, 4-0, in a WIAA regional championship girls softball game Thursday. The Cougars trailed the Red Devils, 1-0, but put runners on second and third with no outs in the top of the fourth. But Bradford pitcher Alyssa Roberts got out of the jam without a run scoring, which ended Craig’s hopes. Craig finished 14-10.
