UPDATE: County A reopens after house fire
JANESVILLE—Janesville firefighters have turned over the investigation of an early morning house fire to the Rock County Sheriff's Office, but remain on scene, according to a fire department spokesman.
A passerby reported the fire at 4:31 a.m. today after seeing flames showing from this single-family house, a Rock County Communications Center dispatcher said.
Nobody was home at the time the fire broke out in the rear of the structure but there may be cats inside, according to the fire department spokesman.
Both interior and exterior damage was reported, according to fire officials.
County A, between Henke Road and Highway 14, was closed to traffic for two hours when deputies from the sheriff’s office provided traffic control, according to dispatch.
The Milton Fire Department also provided mutual aid with a tanker, the dispatcher said.

As you head out of town, it's the first place on the right after the auto body business. You can't miss it: realtor's sign out front and yard surrounded by yellow police tape.
