Prom patrols may be paying off
From the WCLO newsroom:
The Rock County Sheriff's Office is pleased with the results of recent increased patrols in communities having high school proms.
Captain Jude Maurer says the enhanced patrols were intended to reduce traffic crashes, prevent underage alcohol consumption, and enforce traffic laws to help teenagers have a safe and fun prom experience. Maurer says five-dozen citations were issued for offenses ranging from drunk driving to speeding. He adds however, none of the more serious offenses involved teens attending proms. He says these results are very reassuring.
He's also pleased to report no injury or fatality accidents occurred associated with prom events.

If none of the major of offenses involved students attending prom how are the patrols paying off? Give the school, PTA, parents and students credit.
