Rock Aqua Jays cancel first four shows
JANESVILLE--The Rock Aqua Jays have canceled this season's first four shows that were scheduled for Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, May 27, and Sunday, May 31, because of high water conditions on the river, according to Joel Shapiro, club president.
The team hopes to be performing by the first week of June, but that will depend on the weather, Shapiro said.
"The water table is so high that the river is not going down as quickly as it would under 'normal' circumstances," he said.
The team continues to keep its website updated, in addition to its Facebook fan page, Twitter feed, and YouTube channel. In addition, you can subscribe to the RAJ newsfeed via RSS from our website at http://www.rockaquajays.org.

Can they lower the river at the dams? That would solve the problem for RAJ's.

This club has gone through so much kind of like our city in general. Now more than ever "free" entertainment for families is needed. Good luck RAJ cannot wait to see you back home in Traxler!

Just open the river. The rivier is not even in a floodstage so?? And if anyone says they are worried about their land getting washed away by a boatwake....Gimme abreak since I was 8years old I new if I didn't want to have problems with water on myland or in my house to NOT live on it....Yet even with floods year after year...You people still move right back.

This has got to be disappointing. Is this three years in a row, or three out of the last four?
