Brewers win fifth straight
ST. LOUIS (AP) — Prince Fielder hit his fourth homer in the last five games to help the Milwaukee Brewers beat the St. Louis Cardinals, 8-2, on Sunday. Manny Parra (3-4) won his third straight start and the Brewers got two-run singles from J.J. Hardy and Jason Kendall to win their fifth in a row and 11th in 13 games. They’re 12-5 against the Cardinals the last two seasons. Fielder has four homers and 10 RBIs the last five games. It's been too long since the Brew-Crew were a going concern.
I hope they can keep it up until "the final inning" this year. It would be the perfect boost to Wisconsins moral.
