Slowdown on I-90/39 near Edgerton
Traffic in the northbound lanes of Interstate 90/39 near Edgerton has slowed because of an accident, according to the State Patrol.
The traffic delay could be up to an hour, according to a news release.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area. "At this time, there is no designated alternate route," the news release states.
The accident, near milepost 158 in Dane County, occurred at 9:25 p.m. A State Patrol spokeswoman said no one was injured.
A semitrailer truck pulled off the road and then fell onto its side in the ditch because of the soft shoulder, the spokeswoman said.

I agree with you spikesmom, but Doyle decided to sink the money into the ridiculous, totally unnecessary project of making 94 8 lanes from milw. to il.

The article does not list the drivers gender. How do you know it was a man?

There would have to actually be construction on 90 for the soft shoulder to be there for that reason. That road is way past due to be fixed.

Soft shoulder due to construction? Or soft shoulder due to the rain? Or both? I guess it doesn't matter which it is, but I do hope that this driver is okay.
