East River Walkway to be closed starting Thursday

JANESVILLE--The East River Walkway, between East Milwaukee Street and Centerway, will be closed to the public for rehabilitation work starting Thursday.

The work, to be done by Schultz Construction for the City of Janesville, should be done by June 12, weather permitting.

Well, this is mostly repairing spalled concrete and sinkholes created by the flooding. But it isn't like they can do much that is different.

I hope they take potential flooding into consideration in the design work.
