TURTLE TOWNSHIP--Traffic no longer needs to be detoured off Interstate 43, near mile marker 2 at Hart Road, near Beloit in Rock County.

Traffic flow was restored in both the northbound and southbound lanes at 1 p.m., according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Earlier today, traffic in both lanes of the Interstate were detoured onto the Hart Road exit, in Turtle Township, due to a semi rollover shortly before 7 a.m. today that blocked traffic on the road's overpass, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

The driver of the truck was pinned, sawdust was spilling out of the trailer and a wrecker was called to scene. The Wisconsin State Patrol, Beloit EMS and Turtle Township fire personnel also were on scene, according to a spokeswoman at the Rock County Communications Center.

Traffic was detoured for six hours, according to the Wisconsin State Patrol.

Gazette staff, please update this site with the medical status of the driver and the cause for the roll-over, if discovered, when you get a chance.
