From the WCLO newsroom:

Questionable economy or not, at least one developer is banking on Janesville's future.

Sara Investment Real Estate plans to build an office and retail building at 1250 Milton Avenue. City Development Services Manager Gail Price says in this economy, it's unusual for this type of business investment, without space already leased.

The city's planning commission Monday night will host a public hearing on a conditional use permit for the project.

It looks like Janesvillian must know Mr. Price or is a card carrying member of the Gale Price fan club like Stan Milam and Tom McDonald!

Technically Domino's is 1260, part of the old Woodman's complex. It may also be owned by Sara but is a different parcel.

.
The Quick Change building used to be a Wells Motors showroom back in the day.
.
(Also, you'd think the Gazette/WCLO wouldn't keep screwing up Gale Price's name. Though I'm sure he's used to it.)

Does anyone know what is being built in the Woodmans parking lot area on the liquor store side?

This must be the old Wells (later Bryden) Motors site, most recently (currently?) occupied by Quick Cash.

doesnt sound like this is in a TIF district, so some people wont even comment on this. GREAT to see more starting projects, Janesville is still ALIVE !!!!
