Slow, no wake order on Rock River
The Beloit Town Board chairman has requested that the Rock County Sheriff’s Office post a “slow/no wake” sign in the Beloit Township segment of the Rock River, according to the sheriff’s office.
This posting will remain in effect until it is requested to be stopped by Chairman Greg Groves, according to a sheriff’s office news release.
Slow/no wake orders were issued earlier this week for the portions of the Rock River in the city of Janesville, Janesville Township and Fulton Township.

How slow is slow? Wake, isn't that a passing of the dead celebration?

If the roads are flooded this season I have a good mind to drive my waverunner down the street, zip around and do whatever. I get arrested and ticket for "Inlawful use of waverunner down a public street" Hopefully it would make the paper and I can laugh with all you bloggers laughing at me. It would be ridiculously funny.
