Elfie- I've touched up (in the past)a little bit on animals that become supper and yes, it's heartbreaking, for sure heartbreaking, I'm not going to lie. I know that if those animals are going to be somebody's supper, they should be treated much better so that the life they do live is a happy one. However, what I'm saying is that when those animals get their life taken from them, it's fast and practically pain free (for most animals, maybe all). The animals in this article weren't given that chance. They were able to fear for their life for quite an amount of time. They were able to feel pain for quite some time.

Elfie, eating meat for dinner is NOT the same as torturing an animal. The meat that gets put on your plate didn't have to suffer a vehicle being ran over it, or a rope being tied around it and stuck to a tree, only to suffocate itself while trying to escape. The meat on your plate wasn't terrified to death before dying.

Now, I'm not saying that the meat on anyone's plate came from a humane place. I'm pretty sure KFC's chickens were kept in cages way too small with way too many chickens being crammed in there.

The prisons are already overcrowded for people that are even worse than people like this. We need to start coming up with other punishments for people like this. Like working at an animal farm for a year shoveling you know what.

the sad part about this, is the guy will probably get a more severe sentence than the couple that beat their daughter until she needed brain surgery.

The ruthless, uncaring personality one would need to brutalize animals, who are obviously in a state of terror, is worrisome. Not all who abuse animals become serial killers, but all serial killers at one point in their life abused animals. Hope these three horrid torturers aren't married or have children. I bet this isn't the first time this behavior has surfaced, just the first time they got caught.
