Janesville ski tournament under way

JANESVILLE—The Rock Aqua Jays are hosting their first ski-show tournament since 2007 on the Rock River at Janesville’s Traxler Park today, Saturday.

Aqua Jays members say it feels good to be hosting after high water has kept them off the river for so long.

The Aqua Jays will be the last to perform in the seven-team field, sometime Saturday afternoon. Admission is free.

OK, funny guys. We got the message and fixed it. Apologies to the Jays. BTW, spellcheck would not catch "hosing," because it's also a word. -- Gazette reporter Frank Schultz

Wow, hate to read that they are hosing it, doesn't sound good for them!!!! Come on Gazette, spell check is your friend!
